The Lagunas de Chacahua National Park is a protected natural area because it is home to endemic flora and fauna, as well as turtles that come to lay their eggs every year (from August to March). The park comprises three lagoons: Chacahua, Pastoría and Salinas. These bodies of water are connected by canals which, in turn, are surrounded by mangroves and estuaries.

Surf and More...

They have a crocodile farm and various types of birds. Here you also have the opportunity to dive and swim on its beaches, as well as take a walk along the white sand of Chacahua. The mangrove and the lagoons are impressive. Afro-Mexican communities live here and it is a refuge for backpackers from all over the world. The ideal is to get to know the sanctuary and its natural beauties, as well as take the opportunity to rest. It is ideal to go with friends or with your partner and why not, with the family.
