Terms and Conditions

We offer you the possibility of making reservations for tours, guided visits, transfers and other activities of a similar nature offered by companies outside El Lobo Road Trip. In this section we provide information on the conditions that govern the contracting of reservations.

1: DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATIONS

1.1 Whereas “You”, “Your”, “Customer” will refer to you the guest, event organisers, group leader, or any other third-party provider or purchaser.

1.2 “Arrival Date” and “Check-In” means the date at which the customer is due to arrive at Mexico City  and will be picked up by our Staff.

1.3 “Booking” refers to the reservation made by the guest with our Company.

1.4 “Customer” means person who makes the Booking, may also apply to those within the same booking

1.5 “Non Refundable” is any advance purchase bookings which may not be amended or cancelled.

1.6  “stay date” refers to dates in which the guest will be inhouse or the duration of their booking.

1.7  “cancellation day/cancellation date” refers to the date a guests requires a cancellation to be made

1.8  “Departure” “Check-Out” refers to the date the customer booking concludes and are due to leave.

2: TRIP AND HOUSES RULES

 

2.1 ID and Age Restrictions – All guests are required to present a valid Passport or photographic government issued Identification Cards.

2.2  Payment – We accept Visa, Master Card, and Cash.

2.3 Smoking – Smoking is not permitted within the houses, flats, rooms or hotels; guests must use dedicated areas provided if available or smoke away from the staying places.

2.4 Drugs – Any guest found taking illegal drugs within the trip (Transport, Accommodation or in any part of our trip) will be ask to leave with no refunds issued. Depending on the circumstances we may contact the police if deemed necessary or required.

2.5 Attitude and Behaviour – Our trip is for a warm happy atmosphere of co-inhabiting. Anyone found disrespecting other guests’, staff members, neighbours, or behaving in an inappropriate or disruptive manner will be ask to leave with no refunds.

3: BOOKINGS

​

3.1 The contract will commence when the hostel accepts the customers’ request be it phone, email or website. This will be confirmed by either confirmation from the hostel or authorised agent with a reservation number. Customers will be asked to provide a valid government identification, telephone, email, and valid payment card at time of booking (email and phone bookings can only place short term booking holds depending on availability as we are unable to process your card payment over these means).

3.2 This contract is between El Lobo Road Trip and you the customer.

3.3 Reservations can only be made by people over the age of 18 of legal capacity.

3.4 Any adults who arrive with children must be able to prove their direct relationship to the minor. Any arrivals that do not match this criterion will be reported to the police in accordance with guidelines on child protection and trafficking laws to ensure a legitimate relationship.

3.5 El Lobo Road Trip reserves the right to cancel the contract or forbid access to any persons it deems a risk to the well-being, comfort, safety, enjoyment, etc of guests and staff. The management reserves the right of admission or to evict any person from the building at any time at their discretion.

3.6 Any booking made for an activity deemed to damage the reputation or go against the core values of our hostels will be cancelled.

3.7 a) If the person in charge of making the booking is not a guest travelling with us, they may still be responsible for any payment or fine attributed to the booking. The card on file will be the default card charged in the event of any issues. Further claims can be brought in the event the card does not work.

3.7 b) Any damage, fines, or unpaid items payments including, abandoned belongings, smoking, etc will be charged to the card on file.

3.8 We have a zero-tolerance policy on any form abuse or prejudice due to a person’s race, sexuality, beliefs, affiliations, etc you will be asked to leave the trip with no refunds issues and referred to the police

3.9 In the event of a booking requiring amendments, we endeavour to grant the specific request or as close as possible dependant on availability. Prices and services may change depending on the number of days, season

3.10 Bookings can only be made for groups up to 10 people this includes several bookings for the same group of peoples. 

3.11 The Trip's Rules must be obeyed at all times. The contract between our company and guest will terminate immediately with no rights to a refund should these rules be broken at any time. Additional charges may be filed in accordance to the rule broken.

3.12 The booking data, information and its accuracy are the responsibility of the customer. Upon receiving the booking confirmation, they must check the details, dates, etc are correct, in the event of any inaccuracies you must contact the hostel by email to make any amendments. The company cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies due to incorrect data.

3.13 Booking Amendments – Changes to a booking must be made directly through the website or email. Price adjustments for booking alterations will reflect the total depending de season. This excludes any prepaid deposits. 

3.14 If arriving at the trip at a later date than anticipated, you must contact the company beforehand as your booking will be treated as a No-Show and the booking will be cancelled.

3.15 Guests cannot make a booking if visibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

4 PAYMENTS

​

4.1 Payment taken can be done by Visa, Master Card, or Cash and with PayPal. Once we verify the payment, we will send you an email confirming your reservation.

4.2 The prices that appear on the Website may change without prior notice until a reservation has been confirmed.

5 CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDING 

 

5.1 In accordance with current consumer legislation, once you have completed the contract you will not be able to exercise the right of withdrawal due to the very nature of the services. However, the company give you the possibility to cancel the reservation in advance. You can find the cancellation policy provided in the explanatory details of the service (tours, excursions, guided visits and transfers). If you wish to make such a cancellation, you must contact the company directly.

5.2 These can be cancelled up until 120 hours (5 days) before arrival free of charge. Guests must send a request to cancel in writing via the EL LOBO ROAD TRIP email. Anything within 120 hours of arrival will not refund the deposit.

5.3 Force Majeure – In the event of a cancellation out of our or the guests control like border closures, war, pandemics, etc. The cancelation terms above 5.1 and 5.2, continue to apply, the company may issue a credit for the dates booked for a future date at their discretion. The company continues to have fiscal responsibilities including but not limited to staff wages and welfare, rent, insurance, bills, etc and for this reason cannot issue large numbers of refunds at once. The hostel will take into account the specifics of the situation and come to a conclusion on what is deemed an appropriate response. The default stance is the cancellation conditions remain the same.

5.4 Early Departures – After the Check-In date, guests cannot reduce the number of nights on their booking, any night reduction is not eligible to a refund.

5.5 All refunds will be made to the encrypted card on file or a physical card presented or requested for the guest or via PayPal. We are unable to accept card numbers over phone or email. The company will only issue the amount required in GBP any losses due to charges, fees, or currency exchange cost are out of the company control and must be paid for by the guest.

6 ARRIVAL, SERVICE AND DEPARTURE.

​

6.1 Guests may arrive at any time. Once the confirmation email is received, the guest will have to notify the day and time of arrival, as well as information on the flight number, airport or bus terminal in Mexico City.

6.2 Identification Card – A valid photographic identity card must be presented at Check-In, this can be a passport or government issued ID (Driving licenses are only valid for UK citizens). Only the information required will be taken from these and stored in our encrypted system.

6.3 The services offered for EL LOBO ROAD TRIP:

6.3 a) Breakfast, lunch and dinner. (The guest who has any food preferences, will have to notify the company, when they pass the data and dates of their arrival in Mexico City).

6.3 b) Transportation from arrival in Mexico City. Some member of the staff will look for the guest at the arrival terminal, either Airport or Bus Terminal. (Only in Mexico City) If the guest arrives to places near Mexico City, they will have to go to the capital on their own.

6.3 c) Accommodation. The company grants a place to stay during the period of the trip, including bedding and towels. Other cleaning items such as shampoo or bath soap are the responsibility of the guest.

6.4 d) The accommodation time starts from the night of day 1 of the trip until the night of day 14 or day 21 of the trip, or volunteering staying, depending on which tour the guest has chosen. For guests who decide to extend their stay, they will have to reserve a place on their own to be able to accommodate themselves and if they prefer, they can communicate it with the company and it will be in charge of recommending or extending their stay, depending on the space capacity in THE LOBO ROAD TRIP.

6.5 e) Departures, Departures will have to be notified along with your arrival information and flight details. The guest cannot interrupt the itinerary of the trip. If for some reason of major cause, the guest needs to return in advance, They will have to communicate it directly with the Staff, the who will be in charge of granting the necessary help.

6.6. On the day of the departures, the company grants them the transfer to their corresponding bus station or to the Mexico City airport.

7 ATMOSPHERE, BEHAVIOUR AND GENERAL RULES

 

7.1 We want everyone who arrives in our trip to have an enjoyable, fun, and above all safe experience when staying with us. Any guests found to be breaking any of the trip’s rules will be asked to leave with no refunds issued for the remainder of their stay.

7.2 Any guest or guests who are deemed to be behaving inappropriately, disturbing other guests, or are in anyway disrespecting another person, breaking the law, or acting in a way that is unconducive to the welfare and safety of others will be asked to leave the trip immediately.

7.3  Anyone found disrespecting our neighbours or anyone in our community will be asked to leave immediately regardless of the situation. Any problems or issues must be solved through the trip Staff or the local authorities.

7.4 Damage – Any guest caught damaging the places of our accommodation or the transport vehicle or items within it deliberately or through deliberate negligence will be ask to leave the trip. The Staff has the right to charge any guest or guests for damage done to the places of accommodation and for the replacement of damaged items at a rate determined by the staff or the responsible for the places. (receipts will be provided for replacement items). This includes heavily soiled mattresses, duvets, and pillows.

7.5 Items taken from the accommodation places – If a guest is found to have removed any items from the accommodations they will be charged at the cost to replace, a restocking fee, and any maintenance cost associated.

7.6 Smoking – Smoking inside our premises endangers the lives of guests and others, and is also against the law.

7.7 Odour and general hygiene – Our guest’s comfort is of paramount importance to us. If a complaint is made about a guest or their belonging’s odour relating to hygiene or general unpleasant odours, the hostel has the right to ask the guest to take the relevant measures to solve the issue. If the guests refuses to do so, the hostel has the right to ask the guest to leave.

8 DISABLED CUSTOMERS

8.1 Customers with any special requirements pertaining to a disability should inform the company of the same prior to their arrival.

8.2 Please be aware, there are no lifts at any of the accommodation places, so those with a severe disability should consider this when making a reservation.

8.3 No animals are allowed in the hostel with the exception of assistance animal. If you have an assistance animal and would like to book to stay with us, in order for us to deal with your request effectively, please e-mail elloboroadtrip@gmail.com.com for availability and prices. Animals cannot be in shared dormitories and must stay in private rooms.

9 DATA PROTECTION

​

9.1 The Company will not share Customers’ personal data with any third parties for any reasons without the prior consent of the Customer concerned. Such data will only be collected, processed and held in accordance with the Trips rights and obligations arising under the provisions and principles of the Data Protection Act 1998. By posting pictures, or any other posts on social media platforms, including but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and Pinterest, you agree to allow EL LOBO ROAD TRIP to use that material to promote the EL LOBO ROAD TRIP Brand.

10 LAW AND JURISDICTION AND PLACE OF PERFORMANCE

 

10.1 These Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual matters and obligations arising therefrom or associated therewith) shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Mexico.
Any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claim between the Parties relating to these Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual matters and obligations arising therefrom or associated therewith) shall fall within the jurisdiction of the courts of Mexico.
The Terms and Conditions described herein, shall apply to the use of the facilities and services provided by El Lobo Road Trip Mexico.
